Artist's Statement
I am myself, but I did not create myself in isolation. Everything I have experienced has left a handprint on who I became. It is not just that people want something from me — it is the entire world trying to define who a person is. I create because I am still trying to understand, and the goal is to capture the questions without letting every question pull me away from what I am building.
