Also known as TheRealJayne(TRJ), is a visual artist, conceptual creator, and storyteller whose work explores themes of humanity, identity, culture, emotional healing, and the quiet complexities of growing up.

Through surreal imagery, symbolism, texture, and imagined worlds, he transforms personal thoughts and feelings into tangible experiences — works that can be seen, felt, and remembered. He creates to document what it means to be human: the questions we carry, the memories that shape us, the emotions we struggle to name, and the moments in which we begin to understand ourselves.

Creative Philosophy

'How I understand being human, expressed through the world I come from.'

Bongani’s practice is rooted in observation, introspection, and storytelling. Each work begins with a thought, feeling, question, or experience and becomes a way of exploring it visually. His first major body of work, The Human Archive, is an evolving collection centred on the experiences, emotions, beliefs, and questions that shape the human experience.

It is the beginning of an ongoing practice — not its conclusion.
